I have been working on Cecil Field since 2001, working on f-18's (the aircraft Scott S. served his nation in). I have seen alot of changes on the commerce center (former Naval Air Station). I noticed that when i drive down Aviation Ave., along the flightline side of the base, there is a road that i believe the city or maybe the base originally named. The name of that road is Speicher Drive. It is about 240 feet in length and it runs between aviation ave and flightline road towards the hangers. It runs beside and ironically by a large parking lot that has been painted with markings for motorcycle training organizations to use all year long. You can see this using google.com maps. the images are old because the roads are not under any construction, they are functional. I wanted to suggest to whomever is the organizer and ultimate decision maker that maybe, to honor Scott and his service, that you have the ride go to Cecil, his old station, and have the ride, pass over the road named for him and turn around through the parking lot and exiting Cecil Field. It would be a real salute to the man you ride for now. It would be very symbolic and traditional. I thought about this because i come from a family of patriotic veterans and am always recognizing all who have served. I am a Marine veteran. i was 14 when we went into the Gulf War. I did not here about Scott back then, now that i am an adult, things like this are relevant now. I believe in honor, courage, commitment, and i think that a ride that rides through Scotts old base down a road named for him is fitting, and very commemorative. Thankyou for your time and support.

Semper Fi
