What others are saying
- I'm with you Mikeyi also thought tony was holding back. he was complaining a bit about his rig early on, and then you really didn't hear much from him. that's the thing about tony...if he's not shooting off at the mouth, you can tell he's not passionate about what's going on. he's owned the shootout over the last 5 years, so he should definitely make a showing there.
- smokeaaron, I am looking forward to see how good Tony is going to do, as well as Ryan. All last season I thought Tony was holding back not wanting to put a win up for Toyota. It surprised me when he did win. I don't think he will win in the first 1 races , but he will win sometime this season. Without being able to test, it is going to be tough, but now that he is part of the Hendrick Dynasty, I have to kind of root for him. It should be a very interseting season. The shootout should answer a lot of questions; am looking forward to that.
- Well played Mikeyyou make a very good point. which is why it will be even more painful for ALL of the Hendricks boys when Tony crosses that finish line at the speedway!
- point 3 and 4Stewart Haas is powered by Hendrick engines with a Hendrick chassis. Tony will be driving for Hendrick in the Nationwide series at Daytona. Do the Math--check the sidepanel stickers. check tonystewart.com and go to sponsors. one of them is DUPONT--the following quote was taken directly from jayski.com "...The company has been involved with motorsports since 1995 through various technical partnerships with teams in the IRL IndyCar Series and NASCAR, including Hendrick Motorsports, which will continue to provide chassis, engines and technical support to Stewart-Haas Racing." have a nice day and hope to see you at Daytona
- Smoke vs. Hendricks2 points here mikey:
1) smoke owns his own team. here is the official news release: "On July 8, 2008, it was reported that Stewart had been granted a release of the last year of his contract with Joe Gibbs Racing, and will make the move over to Haas CNC Racing to drive one of Haas' Chevrolets, which will be co-sponsored by Office Depot and Old Spice. Stewart will also own half of the team, renaming it Stewart-Haas Racing."
2) the only thing that jeff gordon dominates is the panty hose isle of his local walgreens. bah-dum-cha! - SmokeHey Aaron, who powers smokes new team? I give you one guess. hahahahahahahaha
JEFF GORDON IS THE DOMINATOR - Smoke?Hey Stokely, yer buddy smoke is driving for Hendricks. Wake up and smell the coffee
- I'm with you StokleyI can't wait till my man Smoke and his new team of burners wastes those Hendricks boys. I am so sick and tired of seeing the blue and neon green in the winner cirlce!
- RACEDAZE @ 105Thank you in advance for the opportunity to win tix to ALL the '09 Speedweeks events. I am sooo ready for the '09 NASCAR Racing season to start!Start your engines.....
