...In fact, I've never wished for a meteor to fall from the sky and wipe out so many cars on the road as I did tonight. I'm not saying I agree with executions, but after my ride to Orange Park on the parking lot known as 295, I understand why they happen.

7:20 - Tonight's bounty is boss! Kudos to the Rock105 promotional staff for securing this. The first person to get 4-of-a-kind will win tickets to see Dane Cook at the arena in February 5th. These are no nose-bleed tickets folks, these are premium lower level seats. Sweet!

7:27 - And just as soon as I tell you about the awesome tickets to give for a bounty, they are gone! Poof! Just like Brittney Spears career after laying it on Justin Timberlake.

7:35 - A member of the Rock105 promo staff just threatened to eat his own earwax for money to play poker. At first I felt bad, then I laughed really hard. Then he did it and I laughed even harder. Then he asked for the money and we didn't give to him and I laughed the hardest. Moral of the story: Don't eat your own earwax. Ever. I need a tissue to wipe the tears of laughter from my eyes.

7:43 - I should probably walk around and check out some of the action on the tables. I have to be honest though,...short of somebody pulling a 7-of-a-kind out of left field, I don't think anybody will beat the dude-man eating his own earwax. Grody to the MAXXXX.

7:54 - Some good players on the floor tonight for rookie night, but I know all the action will be on the floor at the $1-$2 table. I have a feeling Asian Dave, Bob, Travis, Liz, and some others will be joining us. It really has become a family atmosphere here, and the poker room is a big part of this. The dealers are all friendly, the players are looking to have a good time. It really has turned into my favorite night of the week. The best part is that we take on new members of our family every week, and it's almost as if they've always been here. Just a real friendly place to throw some cards around.
